Imádod a selyem puha tapintását, lágy esését és fénylő textúráját, mégis egy vegán opcióra vágynál?
A cupró megszólalásig hasonlít a valódi selyemre, miközben nem tartalmaz állati melléktermékeket. Ötvözi a természetes szálak lágyságát a szintetikus szálak praktikus tulajdonságaival, anélkül hogy károsítaná a környezetet.

Szinte nosztalgiával töltenek el a középiskolai kémiaórák iránt. Szinte.

Recently I took part in an exciting styling challenge: Juli provided me with fictional scenarios and tasked me with choosing a DAIGE t-shirt - and the rest of the outfit - for them. I matched the six different scenarios with six t-shirts with such an ease that I did not even expect.

Constellations (from the latin “set with stars”) are groups of stars that have been joined together with incredible fantasy and associated with mythological characters, animals, and objects from humanity’s past. This has allowed early (very early) humans to arrange the night sky into an identifiable system, leading to the religious study of the sky, the forecasting of agricultural seasons, the measure of time, and of course, navigation.

The patterns of the new “Perspective” collection are easy to wear. They are full of playfulness and mysticism, which, I believe, are my two favourite things in the world, so I was not too worried about styling these pieces. The associations of different characters came naturally to me in connection with certain garments of the collection, which always helps me accept the inevitable arrival of autumn.

We can probably agree that there are few things more American than the characteristically dressed cowboy riding into the sunset. Surprisingly though, the idea of a cowboy is not American, not even is it from the same continent.

As a dedicated and lifelong devotee of maximalism, I am fascinated by the classic elements of Western style. I love exaggerated, ornate cowboy boots, playful fringes, embroidered button downs and even cowboy hats! They suit my fashion philosophy of saying “let’s have some fun today!” while getting dressed in the morning. However, it is important to differentiate between maximalism and costume, and a way of doing that is never wearing one style of clothing head to toe.

Although the American prairie and Texas was my main inspiration when designing this collection, this time I want to introduce to you not a mustang, but a similarly special roan horse and its owners (this horse, Cipúr, and its hair is featured on the J. R. puffy jacket!). When I met Niki and Döme for the first time, I was immediately drawn to their world and their lifestyle, how they live in a symbiotic relationship with their animals. The location is so idyllic, and they are such beautiful and honest people, that I knew I wanted to do a photoshoot with them. Meet Niki and Döme, whom I asked about their relationship to each other, and to their horses and dogs.

At the beginning of the 18th century, the Rococo style was born as an answer to the gloomy, cumbersome Baroque. The nobility reacted with exploding optimism to the economic upturn of the era and wished for a style more light-hearted, more joyful, and more spontaneous. The name “Rococo” comes from the diminutive form of the word rocaille, which refers to ornamentation with shells and stones that had been popular since the Renaissance. Of course, both Baroque and Rococo is well known for being overdecorated, but while the former takes this seriously, there is an intrinsic hint of irony to the latter, making it all the more likeable. This whimsical mischief is still inspiring in terms of design and clothing today.

Rococo will always be the smaller sibling of the majestically serious Baroque, so, unfortunately, we can’t identify a distinct Rococo style of architecture. It’s understandable, though: asymmetry and spontaneity are hardly compatible with structures of stability. The cheeky little sibling then appeared where it could, in interior design and furnishing. Inside, overflowing decorations of shells and pearls, lavish plant motifs, and crowded tapestries could flourish with a peace of mind.

It is one of the most used materials in the Rocaille collection. It is an artificially produced fibre made from recycled raw wood in an eco-friendly manufacturing process.

The privileged of the past - but especially of the 18th and 19th century - have been immortalized alongside their pets in significant and less significant paintings of art history. This genre is very popular to this day, since the inclusion of dogs (and other pets, occasionally even monkeys) give these serious and commanding paintings a humorous, or some might say absurd overtone. It is hard to tell whether the artists chose to depict these dogs so amusingly, or we simply consider them funny in hindsight. In any case, a deeper look reveals personalities and even stories in the posture or facial expression of the pets - which lend themselves naturally to be paired with one of the twelve zodiac signs.

The 2020 spring-summer capsule collection named Rocaille combines the comfortable, soft, sustainable materials of leisurewear with the style of flowy, frivolous underwear of the Rococo era. The Rocaille collection was inspired by the French Royal Court, the Rococo era, fluttering underwear, frivolous romance, and organic design. The rococo vibe is perfectly illustrated by Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s most famous painting, The Swing: a lady is sitting on the swing in complete splendor, carefree, throwing her foot so high that she loses her silk slipper. In the background, stone angels are watching terrified how lustfully she is looking at her suitor, who seems to almost faint in his efforts to steal a glance at what’s under the lady’s voluminous skirt.

Without a doubt my favourite trend at the moment is the puffy or loose fit sleeve, whether it is on a blouse, dress, or coat. Not only are puffy sleeves charming, but they feel decadent with a hint of princess-like squeamishness that feels oh so attractive to me - especially in 2020! When you feel unfazed by everything going on around you or expecting the worst in any moment, these dreamy sleeves lure you to escapism, be it mental or physical.

Did you know that only 3% of the world’s arable land is used for cotton production, but that is where 25% of all pesticides are used? In the United States a single cotton plant comes in contacts with no less than 200 types of chemicals. Unlike regular cotton, organic cotton is cultivated under strict ecological regulation, and chemical substances are completely excluded from the production process.
